What my longings are?
Where is that shore distant and far?
You won't understand my yearnings
neither will I be able to put them in words.
A sleepy non-descript coastal town
With people having nothing much to ask for or do
Mundane mornings and defined dusks
marking each passing moments of my life
Allowing me to soak in bright sunshine
And soothe my heart with intermittent sounds of sea-waves
Playing in sync with seagull's calls.
Nights marked by searchlight of a lighthouse not far from the coastline
Guiding voyagers to their destination
And people engaged in simple chores.
Where lies that town of my dream?
Does it even exist?
A place tucked away from greed of men and their ambition
Where humanity is engulfed peacefully by grandeur of nature
And nature has gladly adopted mankind in as raw and innocent form as possible.
Please guide me there for God's sake!
